Design - Textiles - Natur
Translating the surrounding natural environment into digital designs, printed textiles, woven textiles, photo and video experiments.
Project Paramo / digital printed fabric Collection
Collection inspired by the Colombian páramo, translating field research and artistic impressions into digitally printed fabrics. It also explores sustainable textile practices through the use of eco-friendly materials and low-impact printing techniques.
Living Patterns/ woven fabric Collection
A collection of handwoven fabrics exploring the relationship between natural and textile patterns. Inspired by plant forms, observed elements were reinterpreted through a design process and translated into woven patterns.
Patterns / for fabric and different objects
Prints that combine both handmade elements and digital work. They have the ability to bring even the simplest objects to life.
The inspiration
I work in textile design, with a particular focus on digitally printed fabrics and handwoven textiles. Additionally, I also explore photography and video experiments.
My work begins with the natural environment that surrounds me: landscapes, plants, textures, and the way light transforms surfaces. I am particularly drawn to the diversity of forms and colors, and to observing how living systems function and interact. This process of close observation is both inspiring and generative, leading me to capture and translate these impressions into my work. I am interested in highlighting details in nature that might otherwise remain unseen.
I strive to ensure that the materials align with what I create. I use sustainable materials and continuously experiment and research about it. For me, ecological design is a conscious way of relating to the environment.
I share fragments of my process — discoveries, explorations, questions — and stories that emerge around textiles, sustainable design, and the landscape that inspires me.
