Project Paramo
Project Páramo is a textile collection of digitally printed fabrics inspired by the landscapes of the Colombian páramo.
The project draws on photography, observational sketches, and watercolor studies created during an immersive exploration of the ecosystem. These visual impressions were later transformed through digital processes into the patterns and designs featured throughout the collection.
Beyond its design dimension, the project also investigates the environmental impact of textile production and explores more sustainable alternatives within the field. The collection is produced using low-impact materials, including organic cotton and bamboo, and employs digital textile printing techniques to reduce waste and resource consumption.
